How A Low-Carb Keto Diet Worked for Me Best for Weight Loss

Can a ketogenic diet help you drop 100 pounds (45 kg), increase your energy, and develop a passion for working out? Yes! Kendra experienced all of these things as a result of following an LCHF diet.

"I'm getting nearer to my ideal weight than ever! I have the energy to spend time with my kids," Kendra claims.

The following is Kendra's motivational tale, which has been slightly adjusted for length and precision.

The Keto journey of Kendra

I am Kendra and I’m 32 years old. I live in the US Midwest.

In April 2018, I began a ketogenic diet. I've shed almost 100 pounds (45 kilograms) since then.

At first, it wasn't simple. I used to eat fast food, candies, and snacks in excess. My portion sizes had gotten out of hand.

I came to the conclusion that not only was I putting my family's history of diabetes, congestive heart failure, and high blood pressure at risk for me, but also for my children.

It was plenty for me, I thought. I started the keto diet the day after a friend told me about it and about her success with it.

We rarely dine out these days because I cook at home. I now know how to prepare a range of wholesome and delectable dishes. Almost any food can be made keto-friendly by me. Additionally, I've included intermittent fasting. The majority of the time, I eat between 12 and 8 p.m., and at least one day a week, I eat only one meal (OMAD).

Of course, there have been moments when I've had a lot of carbohydrates, but doing so merely served to highlight the fact that my body simply does not respond well to them. What works best for me is low carb.

I exercise five to six days a week in addition to following the ketogenic diet. I was a little under 300 pounds (136 kilograms) at my heaviest, but right now I'm even closer to my ideal weight! I have the stamina to spend time with my kids, and I've discovered that working out—both cardio and strength training—is fun and a fantastic way to relieve stress. No matter what food plan you adhere to, in my opinion, exercise is unquestionably a crucial complement to sustaining a healthy lifestyle. It increases muscular mass, promotes fat reduction, and fortifies your heart. Find something you like to do, then get moving!

I advise anyone interested in adopting a ketogenic diet to do their homework. Avoid diving right in. Instead, figure out what foods you can consume, educate yourself on the keto flu, and get ready for social engagements by packing a snack.

Almost every food item in the grocery shop also contains sugar, so be sure to read the labels. And please do your homework before attempting any keto supplements. To enter ketosis, no supplements are required. That's something your body performs on its own. Embrace the procedure!
